THE Second Republic has been commended for taking over service delivery in urban centres following the dismal failure by opposition-led local authorities to meet the needs of residents.
This came out at the Zanu PF 354th Ordinary Session of the Politburo held in Harare this Saturday.
The 354th Ordinary Session of the Politburo deliberated on a number of issues ranging from preparations for the national people’s conference to service delivery in urban centres.

The Politburo also deliberated on the pronouncement by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on ensuring that citizens access US$50 weekly.
“We commend the move as it was realised that some of the school items needs forex so Bureau De Change have been funded to ensure a smooth process,” he said.
Politburo member Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi who is also Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, said preparations for the National People’s Conference are on course as the party is also going digital.
“We are going digital and the party is modernising as well as the economy. Preparations are going on well,” he said.
The National People’s Conference will be held virtually under the theme: Growing and moder
