My government will tolerate protestors and critics – President Chamisa

By Staff reporter

The Majority Party MDC Alliance leader Cde Nelson Chamisa has reiterated his party’s commitment to a free and Democratic Zimbabwe where citizens are allowed to voice their opinions without fear of being victimised.

“Under OUR GOVERNMENT nobody would be beaten, abducted, attacked or maimed for demonstrating,no one will be arrested for politics.Jail will be strictly for criminals, the corrupt and thieving. We’ll encourage free expression and difference of opinion.

Government is best that governs little. I believe in a government that is small enough to give you what you want. That way the government is small enough to be able to take away anything you have. #FreeMako #imagineadifferentZimbabwe” said Cde Chamisa

He also encouraged Zimbabweans to register to vote, and urged those who have registered before to go and inspect their names on the voters roll.

The President was tweeting under the #FreeMako Monday.
